Antioxidant Berry Smoothie
MAKES 1 (12 OUNCE) SMOOTHE
Fruity, tart, and sweet, this smoothie is a classic. Frozen berry-blends of strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries work wonders here. The flavors are delicious and strong enough to sneak in a handful of spinach or a couple leaves of kale, if you wish!
Ingredients
- 6 ounces coconut water
- 1 cup frozen berries (any variety)
- 1 banana
- 2 sprigs mint (leaves picked, plus 1 for garnish)
- Sprinkle of ice
- Optional:
- 1 scoop protein powder
Directions
- Pour coconut water into blender. Add remaining ingredients and protein powder, if desired.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Pour in a glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
