Champagne Dijon Vinaigrette Dressing
Serves 10
Pop the cork on this festive salad dressing and toss with any combination of your favorite greens. Bottle it up as a gift and be sure to attach the recipe - your recipient will want to make it again!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup champagne vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- In a decorative pint bottle, combine vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic. Seal tightly. Shake well to dissolve sugar and salt.
- Add olive oil. Re-seal and shake again.
- Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Cook Tips
For an interesting variation, use 1/2 cup walnut oil and 1/2 cup olive oil.
