Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wings
Serves 8
Traditional Buffalo wings are made with Frank's RedHot® but feel free to try another variety of hot sauce as each has its own distinctive flavor profile.
Ingredients
- 4 pounds chicken wings (cut into drumettes and flats)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
BUFFALO SAUCE
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (plus more to taste)
Optional Ingredients
- Honey
- Blue cheese dressing
- Celery sticks
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Line two large, rimmed baking sheets with oiled foil or parchment paper. Divide wings evenly between sheets. Season with salt and pepper. Bake 25 minutes. Flip. Continue baking until skin is crispy, about 20 to 25 more minutes.
- While wings are cooking, whisk together butter and hot sauce in a large bowl. Adjust to preferred level of heat and if desired, stir in a little honey for sweetness.
- Toss wings with sauce and serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
Cook Tips
Use the convection setting on your oven or an air fryer for extra-crispy results. Baking time may vary.
