Easy Sparkling Sangria Cocktail

Try our sparkling version of sangria, sweetened with Italian soda. It's the ultimate, warm-weather refreshment—Spanish-style.
Ingredients
- 2 lemons (quartered or sliced)
- 2 oranges (quartered or sliced)
- 1 (750 ml) bottle red wine
- Simple syrup or granulated sugar (to taste)
- 1 (750 ml) bottle orange Italian soda (chilled)
Optional Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brandy
Directions
- Squeeze lemons and oranges into a pitcher. Toss fruit into pitcher with juice. Add wine and brandy, if using. Add simple syrup or sugar, to taste.
- Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight, to steep.
- Add Italian soda to pitcher, just before serving. Garnish glasses with citrus slices.
