Fuzzy Sage Apple Mocktail

A crisp, sparkling fall mocktail that layers bubbly apple cider over muddled fresh sage for an herbal twist. Finished with a dash of bitters, a thin apple slice, and a sprinkle of nutmeg, it marries orchard-fresh sweetness with warm, autumnal spice.
Ingredients
- 2 sage leaves (divided use)
- Crushed ice
- 5 ounces sparkling apple cider
- Dash non-alcoholic bitters
- 1 thin apple slice, for garnish
- Fresh grated nutmeg, for garnish
Directions
- Place a sage leaf in the bottom of a tumbler. Add a sprinkle of crushed ice. Use a muddler to crush sage against ice.
- Top off glass with more ice. Fill with sparkling cider. Add a dash of bitters. Stir gently.
- Garnish with a slice of apple, a sage leaf, and a few grates of nutmeg.
