Green Smoothie

MAKES 1 (12 OUNCE) SMOOTHIE
This refreshing smoothie is a great way to get your greens. It's lightly sweet from the pineapple with a hint of gingery warmth. Enjoy it on its own or with a scoop of your favorite protein powder. Drink to your health!

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces coconut water
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 rib celery (cut into chunks)
  • 1 kale leaf (any variety)
  • 1/4 inch slice fresh ginger
  • 2 sprigs mint (leaves picked, plus 1 sprig for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Sprinkle of ice

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 scoop protein powder

Directions

  1. Add coconut water to blender. Add remaining ingredients and protein powder, if desired.
  2. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Pour in a glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
