How to Freeze Strawberries
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh, ripe strawberries
Directions
- Rinse strawberries and drain well.
- Remove tops and place fruit on a clean towel. Allow to dry fully.
- Spread berries on a parchment-lined sheet pan or plate and freeze until firm (about 2 hours). This will prevent berries from sticking together.
- Place frozen fruit in a sealed freezer bag, expelling as much air as possible. Keep frozen until ready to use.
