Kids' Pasta with Ham

This simple pasta dish makes a great lunch for the little—and big—ones. It's easily customizable with the addition of shredded cheese and any veggies you like.
Ingredients
- 4 ounces macaroni or penne pasta
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 slice ham (1/2-inch thick) (diced)
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or butter (plus more to taste)
- Kosher salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, adding peas 1 minute before pasta is done. Drain.
- Place drained pasta in a bowl. Add ham. Drizzle with olive oil and toss. Add more olive oil, salt, and pepper, to taste.
