Sesame Kimchee Slaw

Sesame Kimchee Slaw

Serves 6
This easy and flavorful slaw was created to go with our Gochujang-Glazed Black Cod. Try it with grilled meats or other types of fish, too.

Ingredients

  • Salad:
  • 4 cups shredded purple or green cabbage (about 1/2 head)
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 1 cup diagonally sliced snap peas or sliced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup kimchee (coarsely chopped)
  • Dressing:
  • 4 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • Garnish:
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine salad ingredients.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients.
  3. Drizzle dressing over salad and toss. Taste and adjust seasoning to preference.
  4. Top with sesame seeds just before serving.
