Sesame Kimchee Slaw
Serves 6
This easy and flavorful slaw was created to go with our Gochujang-Glazed Black Cod. Try it with grilled meats or other types of fish, too.
Ingredients
- Salad:
- 4 cups shredded purple or green cabbage (about 1/2 head)
- 2 cups shredded carrots
- 1 cup diagonally sliced snap peas or sliced green bell pepper
- 1/2 bunch cilantro (coarsely chopped)
- 1/4 cup kimchee (coarsely chopped)
- Dressing:
- 4 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine salad ingredients.
- In a small bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients.
- Drizzle dressing over salad and toss. Taste and adjust seasoning to preference.
- Top with sesame seeds just before serving.
