Brown Butter Streusel Baked Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup frozen, tart, pie cherries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 4 cups milk ((any variety))
- 2 bananas (sliced)
- Topping:
- 1/4 cup Brown Butter Almond Streusel Topping
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter an 8-inch square baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, cherries, brown sugar, and salt. Add milk and bananas and stir. Pour into prepared baking dish and bake 20 minutes.
- While oatmeal is baking, prepare streusel topping.
- Remove oatmeal from oven and sprinkle with streusel topping. Return to oven and bake an additional 30 to 40 minutes until golden and crispy on top.
- Serve with a poached egg, if desired.
