4 Ingredient Recipes—Best of Met

Easy weeknight dishes to make when all you want to do is order takeout

bowl of chicken tikka masala with cubes of chicken, chunks of tomato, and spinach leaves

We’ve all been there: it’s been a long day, the commute was brutal, and the thought of making dinner sounds impossibly daunting. So, we challenged ourselves to create incredible recipes that use no more than four ingredients and, better yet, feature some of our customer-favorite Best of Met items.

Poke Nachos

The Star: Ahi Tuna Poke

We’ve put a lot of things on nachos, but raw fish? This one was a gamble. But between sweet-meets-salty taro chips, flavorful furikake, and fresh guacamole, this just might be our new favorite way to eat poke!

Bowl of chicken tikka masala

The Star: Rotisserie Chicken

If we were to rank time-saving weeknight cooking hacks, securing a really good rotisserie chicken would absolutely top the list. It’s incredibly versatile and you can normally get a couple meals out of it. (Lunch the next day, anyone?) Combine it with prepared sauce and a couple of fresh veggies, and dinner is instantly transformed into something new and delicious.

Plate of crab cakes with sesame ginger slaw

The Star: Dungeness Crab Cakes

Crab cakes feel fancy, but they’re surprisingly easy to cook. A quick sear in a skillet—just a few minutes per side—and they’re ready to enjoy. Paired with a bright, crunchy sesame-ginger slaw, they make for a meal that feels special with hardly any effort.

Oven-roasted hash in a skillet

The Star: Large AA Organic Eggs

Breakfast for dinner—or "brinner," if you were to use the ultra-scientific, technical term—is a tasty and nostalgic way to end the day. This version is loaded with potatoes and red peppers, with bacon as an optional (but highly recommended) upgrade. Keep the yolks slightly runny so they ooze over the hash, coating everything with rich, golden flavor.

Two ice cream sandwiches, spoons, and the cookie

The Star: The Cookie

There’s no wrong way to enjoy The Cookie, and this ice cream cake is further proof! Layers of crumbly cookie pieces and creamy ice cream come together for an indulgent frozen treat that feels both playful and decadent.
